Li Guo, Professor
Also the professor of Graduate school, Chinese Academy of Sciences. joined Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) since 1989, and He was admitted to Special Class for young gifted student of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1981, graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Technology of USTC and got B.S. in 1986, obtained the M.S. Degree in IPE, CAS in 1989. He was a visiting scientist at National Center for Toxicological Research, FDA, US in 2004 and 2008-2009. Research interests include high performance computing, Internet chemistry & chemical engineering information systems and text/knowledge mining. He has published more than 60 scientific papers ad three books, two as the first author and one as the second author. He also coauthored one translated book. He is an editorial board member of "Journal of Computer and Applied Chemistry". In 1995, he received the State Council special award for Distinguished Scientists and the PCCW (Yingke) Award for Excellent Young Scholars of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. He is also the winner of Third Prize and the Second Prize of Scientific & Technology Advancement, Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1992 and 1994 respectively, and Third Prize of Scientific & Technology Advancement, Beijing, 2007

Xiaoxia Li, Professor
Joined Institute of Process Engineering (formerly Institute of Chemical Metallurgy), Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1988. Got B.S. from the Department of Chemical engineering, Tsinghua University in 1985, obtained M.S. at Lab of Computer Chemistry (LCC), Chinese Academy of Sciences in1988. She has served as the Project Director of Asian Chemical Information Network, Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS) from 1999, and as vice Chairman of Committee of Computer Chemistry, Chinese Chemical Society since 2000, elected as trustee of Chemical Structure Association Trust since 2003 and became an EXCO member in the Chinese National Council for CODATA from 2008. Research interests include chemical databases, Internet chemical resources discovery including chemistry web directory, chemistry focused search engine, data extraction and information extraction. Awards include the 1st and 3rd Prize of Scientific & Technology Advancement, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the 3rd Prize of Beijing Scientific & Technology. She has published more than 50 scientific papers and authored a book of 'The Chemical Resources on Internet' in 2000 by Science Press, Beijing and reprinted in 2002 for its popularity, also coauthored another two books. She is an editorial board member of 'Journal of Computer and Applied Chemistry'.
