Oxford University Biochemical Society (OUBS,UK)


     Oxford University Biochemical Society is a student-run society that aims to promote Biochemistry at all levels in the University. During Oxford's academic terms, they organise weekly seminars, which cover a wide variety of topics in current biochemistry and molecular biology.
They also arrange the annual Careers Day, an information event for students in the life sciences. All events organised by OUBS are open to members of Oxford University free of charge.

OUBS is one of the largest scientific student societies at Oxford University. Their membership is diverse, encompassing students and staff from all of Oxford's life sciences departments. This reflects their goal of bringing together people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
